During lesson times, we have at least one CRB checked committee member available for any questions or emergencies that may arise. All children who attend the school are also covered by an insurance policy, ensuring their safety during lessons. We also emphasize positive classroom behaviour to create a conducive learning environment.
Lessons are held every Friday evening during term time from 17:30 to 20:30, split into two sessions: 17:30-19:00 and 19:00-20:30. This structure helps maintain a balanced student-to-teacher ratio. Parents will receive homework progress reports to track their child's development.
The school opens at 17:15, and pupils should arrive five minutes early to begin lessons promptly at 17:30 or 19:00. The school day ends at 20:30, and it is essential to pick up your child from inside the school, as they will not be allowed to leave the building unless supervised by an adult.
A fire drill is conducted once a term, and pupils must be aware of the fire regulations as part of our school policies.
Parents are actively encouraged to assist with setting up tables and chairs before lessons and/or to help clear out at the end.

Pupils must attend lessons with all necessary equipment (books, pen, pencil, ruler, etc.) to ensure positive classroom behaviour. All money and personal belongings should be kept on the owner's person, as personal stereos, iPods, and electronic games should not be brought into school. The school accepts no responsibility for their loss or damage. Any accident or damage to equipment or furniture should be reported immediately.
Students are expected to listen to the teacher, work positively and constructively, whether alone or in groups, to achieve a worthwhile work output in class, and to produce homework to the best of their ability. Homework progress reports will reflect their efforts, and students are also expected to behave courteously to all members of the school and wider community.
Attendance at each concert and learning the poems and songs are important parts of student engagement. Furthermore, it is crucial to note that bullying of any kind is unacceptable according to school policies.

Open days are held each term, and advance notification is provided to parents. Parents are expected to attend these sessions to stay informed about their child's homework progress reports, discuss classroom behaviour, and address any concerns related to school policies that may arise.
